Overview/Purpose

How to move while in the butterfly. It is important for young goaltenders to try to achieve a nearly perpendicular planted push-leg and to focus on being patient when establishing a powerful push. Now, I understand that it is not realistic to obtain a completely perpendicular push-leg each time (nor optimal for power); however, if this is practiced as a overspeed type of idea, during a game the goatlender will likely achieve something close and see more success when pushing in the butterfly.
